Go Care Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Go Care, a childcare booking platform operated by Go Grow Playrooms LLC (“Go Grow,” “Go Care,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking childcare services through our website or app, you (“Parent,” “Guardian,” or “User”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Services Provided

Go Care allows parents and guardians to book childcare services either:
- (a) Drop-off care at Go Grow Playrooms, or
- (b) In-home care with a vetted Go Care caregiver.
All caregivers are vetted through background checks, reference checks, and onboarding conducted by Go Care.
Go Care acts as a platform to connect parents with caregivers and provide supervised care.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to contract for childcare services.
You may only book care for children you are the legal parent or guardian of, or for whom you have legal authority to arrange care.

3. Parent / Guardian Responsibilities

Provide accurate information about your child(ren), including name, age, allergies, medical needs, and emergency contacts.
Provide a valid pickup code word or password at the time of booking.
Arrive on time for drop-off and pickup. Late pickups may result in additional charges.
Supply any necessary items for your child’s care (diapers, wipes, bottles, medications, etc.).
Ensure your home environment is safe and suitable for in-home care when applicable.

4. Caregiver Responsibilities

Caregivers will follow safety guidelines and instructions provided by Go Care.
Caregivers will not administer medication without written parental consent.
Caregivers are not permitted to transport children unless explicitly approved in writing by Go Care.
Caregivers must report any incidents, injuries, or safety concerns immediately.

5. Payments & Fees

Payment is due at the time of booking.
Rates are displayed clearly before checkout (e.g., $16/hour for drop-off care; in-home rates vary by caregiver).
All payments are processed through Go Care’s secure payment system.
Go Care retains a service fee from each booking to support operations and caregiver vetting.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the booking start time: Full refund.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the booking start time: 50% refund.
No-shows or cancellations after the scheduled start time: No refund.
Go Care reserves the right to cancel a booking due to caregiver illness, emergency, or safety concerns. In this case, you will receive a full refund.

7. Health & Safety

Children who are visibly ill (fever, vomiting, contagious illness) may not be accepted for care.
Go Care staff and caregivers may refuse care if a child’s health poses a risk to others.
Parents must provide emergency contact details and authorize Go Care to seek medical care for their child in case of an emergency.

8. Liability & Waivers

By booking with Go Care, you acknowledge that childcare involves inherent risks.
Go Care is not liable for accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur during care, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Parents release and hold harmless Go Grow Playrooms LLC, its staff, and caregivers from claims arising from childcare services provided, to the extent permitted by law.

9. Conduct & Termination

Go Care reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts if users or caregivers violate these Terms, act abusively, or endanger children.
Go Care may remove caregivers from the platform at its discretion if they fail to meet standards.

10. Privacy

Go Care collects and stores personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
Sensitive information (child health details, addresses) is encrypted and used only for the purpose of providing childcare services.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts located in Wayne County, Michigan.

12. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Go Care after updates indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
